Capacity adjustment set

The capacity adjustment set is an assembly, consisting of the pusher and guide channel, that is used to adapt the loading magazine to the opening in the CNC lathe and/or to the diameter of the material bar to be machined. In mechanical engineering, the bar loading magazine is part of a material flow system. FMB produces bar loading magazines for long-turning, short-turning, single-spindle and multi-spindle lathes. All loading systems can be adapted to suit customers’ requirements, e.g. with the addition of a shifting device. They are charged from a material storage system or bundle loader. A bar lift may also be fitted as an option. The material bars are conveyed from the oil-flushed guide channel (where turbulence is generated), through the steady device of the loading magazine, to the main spindle of the lathe, where they are clamped by means of a collet.
