Uniprotect safety fence systems are safety barriers that have undergone type testing by the timber and metalworking professional association of Germany (BGHM). This confirms that the prototypes conform with the requirements specified in Section 3 (1) of the German Product Safety Act, and with the relevant provisions of Directive 2006/42/EC (Machinery Directive). Our system comes as standard in a height of 2050 mm with 150 mm crawl-under protection.
We achieve a very high level of stability and loadbearing capacity by using angled profiled steel for the posts and panel elements.

The basic profile of the posts is a C-profile, open inwards. The open edge of the posts is sealed by a clip-on cover. An all-round cable race can be added to the safety fence system along the top edge of the posts, forming a very convenient way of laying electrical cabling, pneumatic hoses etc. neatly and invisibly.
The panel elements are designed with two fixings on each side for attaching to the posts. The lower fixings are used to hang the panels on the post adapters. The panel is then attached to the top adapters on the posts and locked in place with a key. The key can only be removed once the panel elements are locked in place.
The safety fence panels can be designed as:

The width and geometry of the safety fence panels can be arranged individually to suit the characteristics of the location and your application.
The special design of the posts and panels make it easy to produce interlocks by using touch-free operated safety devices (BWS) in the form of safety light curtains.
All the steel parts are powder coated in your desired RAL colour. The substantial coat thickness of powder coating, by comparison with wet painting processes, and the flexibility of its surface, ensures that it provides a high level of safety and impact resistance. Powder coating is also environmentally friendly, as it is applied without solvents so no emissions are caused.
