Bush guidance

In addition to the magazine storage of material bars or profiled bars, a further central task of the loading magazine is bar guidance. Part of the technology involved here is the bush guidance. In the loading magazine or bar loading magazine this is a special guidance system or unit in the loading magazine in which the material bar passes into a rotating bush, where it is positively locked for feeding into the turning process of the lathe. This stage is widely carried out by the use of a guide channel. In an enclosed construction this has oil flowing through it, thus ensuring a stable, low-vibration guidance, e.g. where round material is used.

For example, the bars can be conveyed in advance to the loading magazine by a bar lift. Like the bundle loader, this is an optional extra for the loading magazine.
