Industrial robots from FMB Maschinenbau are marketed under the brand UNIROBOT. FMB has developed its own safety fence system for the robot cell, which can be fitted as an optional extra. These are used in direct connection to CNC lathes – on single-spindle lathes (long-turning or short-turning) and on multi-spindle lathes.

The material bars are deposited on the material storage facility. As an optional extra, this can be done automatically with a loading system, bar lift or bundle loader. For example, the round material can be transferred automatically from the loading magazine for machining in the lathe by the pusher via the stabilising steady.
