Guide bush

The guide bush is an essential component of sliding headstock lathes, providing the support and axial guidance for material bars during the turning process in CNC lathes. A loading magazine (bar loading magazine) is also used to ensure a steady flow of materials. This is a material flow system – a loading system for profiled bars or round materials as part of an automated system. FMB is a leading manufacturer of loading magazines, as well as unload systems.

The material bars are guided through the guide channel of the loading magazine. The loading magazine with steady is connected to the lathe by means of a guide tube or telescopic tube. The main main spindle of the lathe clamps the workpiece in place.

The FMB UNIROBOT is a handling system. The industrial robots with gripper systems are used in a robot cell, for instance to remove finished workpieces. The machine operators are protected by a safety fence system developed in-house by FMB.
