Centering sleeve

The centering sleeve is a conical attachment for the pusher, for inserting a material bar into a machine tool (CNC lathe). The centering sleeve is used as an alternative to a clamping sleeve or clamping mandrel, to give flexibility to the system and enable it to guide materials of different diameters. If a centering sleeve is used, the remnant pieces cannot be drawn back in and removed via the remnant flap. FMB Maschinenbau produces material flow systems for the machining sector. Loading systems from FMB enjoy substantial popularity internationally for their quality and reliability. A bar loading magazine may be charged by the bar lift, available as an optional extra. In the standard version, material bars are conveyed through the guide channel, and profiled bars via the material storage system. Loading magazines from FMB are used with single-spindle lathes (fixed and sliding headstock), but there is also a model for use with multi-spindle lathes. A practical solution for an unload system is the FMB industrial robot system with grippers (UNIROBOT) and optional safety fence system.
