Bar lift

The bar lift is a lifting device on a loading magazine. The material bars are laid out at ground level and raised by the bar lift to the lateral material storage facility, from where they are transferred to the oil-flushed guide channel. The low-vibration bearing is achieved by hydrodynamic bearing effect. Materials such as round material bars are transferred via the guide channel into the lathe, through the steady to the spindle stock with its main spindle. The workpiece is clamped in place in the lathe by a collet. The bar change takes place automatically in the loading magazine. Remnant pieces are removed via the remnant flap.
